The conference will begin Friday evening*, October 12th, with a Welcome Reception and Keynote presentation at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, located at 540 N Michigan Avenue, in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Conference attendees will receive their registration materials before being treated to a fun evening of networking with fellow animal advocates while enjoying plant-based appetizers and drinks.

All plenary sessions on Saturday, October 13th and concurrent sessions on Sunday, October 14th will also take place at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, in the Chicago Ballroom (located on the 5th floor). Breakfast should be planned for on your own, but coffee and tea will be served before the sessions begin and snacks will be available during each break. A delicious, plant-based, catered lunch will be served from on Saturday and is included with your registration fee.

Sunday, October 14th is a half day, with concurrent sessions in either side of the Chicago Ballroom. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be available again on Sunday and the conference will conclude just after 12:45 p.m.

*Note: the Animal Legal Defense Fund is hosting their second annual Student Convention on Friday, October 12th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. Law students registering for the Animal Law Conference are encouraged to come early to attend the Student Convention as well!
