Before joining VegInvest, Amy spent 18 years advocating for animals as a partner in the animal law firm, Egert and Trakinski, where she litigated on behalf of national animal protection organizations, grassroots advocacy groups, and individual clients. She currently serves on the boards of Compassion Over Killing and Animal Welfare Trust and is a member of the Humane Society of the United States’ New York State Council. Amy has a B.A. in History from Binghamton University and a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
