The conference will begin Friday evening*, October 25th, with a Welcome Reception and Keynote presentation at the elegant event space of the Portland Art Museum, located at the Mark Building, 1119 SW Park Avenue, in downtown Portland, Oregon. After receiving their registration materials, conference attendees will be treated to an exciting evening  program that includes a keynote presentation and networking with fellow animal advocates in the Fields Sunken Ballroom on the 1st Floor, while enjoying plant-based appetizers and drinks.

All plenary sessions on Saturday, October 26th will also take place at the Portland Art Museum, in the Fields Sunken Ballroom, located on the 1st Floor of the Mark Building. Breakfast should be planned for on your own, but coffee and tea will be served before the sessions begin and snacks will be available during each break. A delicious, plant-based, catered lunch will be served on Saturday and is included with the registration fee. The banquet dinner and evening program will take place in the same location; banquet tickets must be pre-purchased for the optional evening program.

Sunday, October 27th is a half day, with concurrent sessions in the Fields Sunken Ballroom (1st Floor) and the Marion Miller Gallery (1st Floor) in the Portland Art Museum’s Mark Building. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be available again on Sunday and the conference will conclude just before 12:00 p.m.

*Note: the Animal Legal Defense Fund is hosting their third annual Student Convention on Friday, October 25th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Portland Art Museum. Law students registering for the Animal Law Conference are encouraged to come early to attend the Student Convention as well!
